League KO Cup Finals

Three more of the League's KO Cup Finals have taken place in the last few days. Full match reports will appear in the Press Report for Monday 19 May once the last Final has taken place. Meanwhile here are a few details.

Perhaps the most exciting Final so far was a pulsating and at times nail-biting Handicap KO Cup Final eventually won by the mixed Div4/5 team of ECC E 5:3

 

Although they worked their socks off it was just not to be on the night for Baddow Village F. Gareth Joice won all three of his singles, but defeats for Mark Patman at 22:20 in third to Mohammed and 23;21 in the third to Jeff and for Richard 23;21 & 22:20 to Mohammed left them trailing.

It was another successful night for ECC as their side of
Alastair Hill (centre), Ian Staff (right) and Simon Webber (left) retained the Junior KO Cup in style beating their club mates Tom Hill, Ben & Dan Rayner 5:0
