League KO Cup Finals

It's Finals time! This report gives pictures on the 4Down and 6Down KO Cup Finals. The Men's KO Cup and the brand new 2Down KO Cup can be found in PN32. You can find the full match reports in the Press Report.

One of two teams to achieve 'doubles' this season. Winning both their division - 4 - and cup titles. In the league the team were joined by Dave Fillery. John's average of 91% was the second highest in the division.

 

What is it they say? Always the bridesmaid and never the bride? Or something like that! For the second year running Elmtree graphics were runners-up in the 4Down KO Cup. here the team of Rod Mclennan, Nicola Pippen and Tony Vassallo pose with non-playing team captain Melanie Bonnett. And this despite the fact that they have the divisions leading performer in Tony Vassallo with an average of 94%!

 

On behalf of the League, Melanie Bonnett presents the 6DOwn KO Cup to John Macfarlane, David Porter and Nigel Parmenter of OC's. It's a wonder they won with Nigel wearing that shirt! Think he only put it on after the match though!
OC's won a gripping match, which featured the two eldest players in the league, 5:4

 

Bill Chester makes the most of a handshake from Melanie as he, Ron Arthur and Ffred Henwood receive their 6Down KO Cup runners-up awards. It was just the day after Freds 75th birthday, but there were to be no extended celebrations as winning chances slipped through the Baddow Village teams grasp.
