The Chelmsford & District Table Tennis League offers opportunities to learn to play table tennis or to improve your standard of play if you have already begun to play. You may contact one of the Club's or join a formal coaching activity.  The details of the coaching programme, aimed mainly at juniors (aged under 17), are:-

1. Friday evening from 7.15 - 9.15 p.m. at Melbourne Athletic Stadium, Salerno Way, Chelmsford. Led by ETTA qualified coaches Neil Gooday and Adrian Pitt. There are two 1 hour sessions. The fee is £2.00 per session. Ring for details of the session most suited to your needs.

Contact: Neil Gooday  (01245 354221)
or Adrian Pitt (01245 250710)

There is a small charge for all coaching activities. Come and try and see if you like it. And if you do, then why not come again. We would love to see you.

2. Other coaching opportunities exist by invitation. For more information contact the League Coaching Officer:
Hil Dowsett on 01245 611324

By attending one of the coaching programmes juniors will also be given the chance to take part in the League's junior league competition - CLICK, designed especially for new and improving players who are not quite ready to play competitively in the main league.

The best route for adults to introduce themselves to table tennis or re-introduce themselves to the sport is through a table tennis club. You can find details of all clubs affiliated to the Chelmsford League through this site.

If you would like more advanced training it may be possible for us to arrange this, or put you in touch with a centre at which it is available.
